The different flavours that they offer:
- Frog with dried chilli (Gong bao)
- Frog with Spring Onion
- Frog boiled in porridge
- Frog with Chicken Essence
- Frog with Chinese Herb Soup
- Frog with Garlic and White pepper
- Special home-made chilli frog
Of all the times that I went, my favourite is still the Gong bao and Spring onion flavour. These 2 are definitely are must try! Normally I'll just order a small pot of porridge ($2) to go with it, but we decided to pamper ourselves with more foooood :)
We had the Kai lan and Cereal prawns which was pretty good except that the prawns were way too oily :( You can see the oil on the plate which made me lose my appetite, but it was still very delicious.... Well as the saying goes, unhealthy food taste always tastes better :/
I can't remember the prices for the vegetable and prawns, but the bill came up to a total of $40.40 so if you want to do some calculations, it's pretty standard seafood pricing? The coconuts were $3 each and was paid separately as they were different stalls, although you take orders from the same place.
So tempted to make another trip back!
